Fredros Okumu is a parasitologist and entomologist, who currently works as director of science at the Ifakara Health Institute in Tanzania. His primary research interests concern the interactions between humans and mosquitoes.
Valerie Weiss is a filmmaker and scientist. In addition to her extensive work as a director, she has a Ph.D. in biological chemistry and molecular pharmacology.
