Starring Colin Farrell and Jodie-Turner Smith, the story touches on many of the most controversial moral issues confronting today’s artificial intelligence developers. As we follow their struggle to repair a beloved but malfunctioning family “technosapien” named Yang, we witness their discovery of the surprisingly complex inner life of their android, come to understand the void that his absence creates, and appreciate the questions that provokes.
