The Science & Entertainment Exchange is a program of the National Academy of Sciences. That means that we have immediate access to experts in all fields of science, including the social sciences. We are here to assist you with your storytelling project, free of charge. We understand the importance of up-to-date information, especially when crafting compelling stories that engage audiences.

HOW IT WORKS
Email or call us with your specific questions or topics. We will determine the best match from among our extensive pool of experts and connect you. In some cases, if your inquiry spans several scientific disciplines, we may connect you to more than one person — a PhD in physics does not provide sufficient insight to answer questions based in biology. You can expect that the scientists to whom we refer you will be generous with their time and expertise. At the same time, we do add a word of caution: They do have day jobs. You should expect to receive a couple of hours from them. We’re not agents but you should probably consider compensating them for anything more than that.
